This is the same model of Amana that I purchased almost 30 years ago. That one worked excellently and reliably. I decided to replace it, maybe too soon, wondering how long it might last. This new one is pretty quiet and holds temperatures consistently. I like the lighting within and the glass shelves. I don't need or want an ice-maker or cold-water dispenser, so this is perfect for me. The estimated yearly use of electricity is good, but I don't know why it doesn't have or wasn't submitted for the Energy Star rating. I am optimistic that it will be as reliable as the one it replaced.

This is the second time in 20 years to have two of these refrigerators. They are durable and stand the test of time. Split shelves are a wonderful advantage. After almost 5 months there is one small problem is extremely strong suction on refrigerator door, after opening it's best to wait 30seconds to try to open again.

Pros: Refrigerator temperature is accurate and the seals are very good. Accessibility is good. Cons: Both freezer baskets have a center divider that is un-necessary and limits the room in freezer.. Refrigerator motor runs for around 25 minutes then goes off for 15 minutes then on again for 25 minutes even without any door being opened. The refrigerator motor is extremely loud when its running.

We have owned an Amana 33 inch wide bottom freezer refridgerator for over 25 years and it was always dependable through the years keeping food cool and frozen foods frozen. The design inside made it easy for cleaning when needed. The condensor recently went on it and it is now out of commision. We are now looking to get another Amana 33 inch wide bottom freezer refrigerator because of the dependability we had on the one we had. We hope to find the right sale for our senior budget. We highly recommend this Amana product for dependability!!!

I love everything about this frig. The freezer at the bottom is so convenient. Has 2 drawers. Refrigerator is so roomy and the door has so many bins. I can move bins and shelves in a lot of different position. The guys who delivered the frig. We're very helpful. Took all their he packing out and tape everywhere off Made sure there were no dents. And made sure we were happy where they put it. Everything went so smooth

2l years ago we bought his same Amana frig was it had to be just the right size as it was built in. Fortunately, when we needed a new frig, we looked up Amana and guess what. The exact same frig was available. I am so pleased with the new one. it keeps the strawberries perfect for days, th interior looks so bright and sparkly I like that the freezer controls have been moved to the top of the frig. I occasionally would overload the freezer and the dial would accidentally get moved.

This is our second refrigerator of this model. We owned our first one for 29 years. There are several things that are not top quality. The vegetable drawers at the bottom just fall out of the tracks when you pull them open. The other drawer in the fridge doesn™€™t close or hang correctly .

Good size but pricey

We had this model about 10 years ago and the main difference is the freezer now has a drawer instead of a door. Which is too bad, drawers are not better, they break more often, and as many have pointed out the dividers design is bad. Otherwise it's fine, hasn't seemed noisey or fragile yet. Too expensive tho- no reason it should cost over $700.

TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT

So disappointed!!! I ordered what I thought was a replacement for my 12 year old Amana bottom freezer. I was told it was the same fridge I had before, but no way. The bottom fridge drawers must be pulled out, and the very bottom is not accessible because I can't bend down that low without pain in my back. TERRIBLE decision by Amana to change this to a pull out drawer instead of one that opens on the side and has side compartments, too, as my old one had. I loved that fridge and hate this one. It also has less room inside, drawers are smaller, can barely fit a bunch of celery in the vegetable drawer. This is a disaster, I am so upset that Amana pulled a fast switch on us and gave us a non accessible product.

Installers inefficient, but Fridge is good.

I like my new fridge. It's just that the installers from Home Depot did not follow the manual directions for installing. I had the manual in my hand, and they acted like they don't need that. The next day I called and asked Home Depot to send someone out to correct the installation. They did, and I got the same inappropriate results. The manual says: "Using a level, make sure front of refrigerator is 1/4" (6mm) or 1/2 bubble higher than back of refrigerator." They did not do this so the fridge door doesn't close appropriately. Would love for Amana to send out real installers.

We bought this Amanda refrigerator to replace an Amanda that we loved. This one had NONE of the features that we appreciated in the old one, like the beverage shelf. It comes with no accessories (ice cube trays, ice cube storage bin, egg storage tray). The front is a shiny white finish, not a fingerprint proof finish. The only good thing was the perfect fit between our cupboards, which is the reason we bought it in the first place. We knew it would at least fit and it does! Also, we had to reverse the door and Amanda did not send the plugs to fill in the holes left after the reversal. New frig with two holes in the door. Bummed out!!!

No Icemaker won the sale!

Purchased in February 2025. Installers weren't informed about how to install. Complained to Home Depot. Sent other installers who weren't informed about how to install. Sounds like the compressor(?) is knocking against something when it turns off. Otherwise, it works fine. Concerned that over time the leveling issue will cause problems.

I wanted a bottom freezer refrigerator WITHOUT an ice maker or water dispenser in white. I™€™m so happy to find one with Amanda. The refrigerator is quiet and works great. I do wish that just because an appliance is basic in function, there would be more care taken to give us customers sturdy drawers, and better sliding mechanisms. The drawers are very cheaply made and do not slide easily. The freezer could have been better engineered as well. I am fine with this unit, but would very deeply appreciate a better quality interior.

Wanated lower freezer so model serves that purpose. Platic hydrator doors do not glide smoothly. Freezer section back portion not easily acceible. Paid 1650.+ for unit (smaller, local dealer) 98.00 install ( first floor, simple install--seems test of time will tell if agood alue for price.

I love the way this is designed I have ample room to store everything I need. However I did notice a large dent in it after the delivery person left and I didn™€™t get a use and care manual. I contacted Lowe™€™s where I bought it and they have not responded to me. The freezer drawer also is a bit difficult to close but not a big problem.

This is a replacement refrigerator from my 31 year old Amana. Basically the same refrigerator other then it's built cheaper. More plastic parts, shelves are smaller on the door. Don't care for the pull out freezer section as it seems very thin metal and it's flimsy. Other then it being a basic white refrigerator, it keeps the food fresh.

I bought this product several years ago-when they offered the swing freezer door also.Best refrigerator ever so far and it has been working/cooling great since Dec.2019. I have had this Amana Bottom freezer refrigerator for 4 months and have really appreciated how convenient it is to not have to bend down and crawl around looking everyday to find what is in the refrigerator. It makes so much more sense to have the freezer on the bottom as we are in the refrigerator much more often than the freezer. I have had other brand name bottom freezer refrigerators in the past but I think Amana is superior to them! Also it runs very quiet compared to others I have had. Excellent quality product!

I took quite a while to locate this particular model in white... it's almost identical to my previous refrigerator freezer with the exception of the biggest feature I miss. - a deli drawer. The freezer drawer seems less stable with open wire drawers instead of solid plastic ones I had before. And I need to make a definite effort to close it completely.

My children bought this for me a month ago and I just love it. The refrigerator on the top is easily accessible and it™€™s nice not to have to bend over to see what™€™s in the bins. I can see everything as soon as I open the door. The freezer on the bottom has two levels and gives me so much room. Setting the temperatures is so easy because the dials are right In plain view in the refrigerator top front.

You get what you pay for.

I am overall happy with my purchase, except for one thing. The crisper drawers. They feel cheaply made. They hang up when closing don't slide well. Also, I have to pay attention, or they will not shut all the way. I have to shift them in order to get them to shut as they should. Manufactured defect, I don't know. Thought of trying some type of lubricant.

I needed a white no frills refrigerator and this is exactly what I wanted! Spacious and quiet, internal space conveniently designed, the bottom freezer is very easy to use with easily accessible space.

This fridge was a disappointment. Bought to replace a Whirlpool with exact same dimensions- space was an issue. Bottom shelf in the door did not attach properly. When door was opened, shelf came loose, and contents of shelf smashed on the floor. We kept the prior fridge and tried to swap out the faulty part, but the fault was in the molded door panel. Had to do a redneck fix with screws. Not cool. Also, the small storage bins on the old fridge were clear. New ones are opaque, so hard to tell what's in them. We swapped them out.

We love the refrigerator but there is 1 issue. 6 days after delivery the freezer door rail became misaligned. We are waiting for the part and a return warranty repair visit.

Don't like bottom freezer drawer. Had the same frig for 20 yrs with bottom door. Had alot more room to freeze stuff. Can't move dividers in basket in freezer

This refrigerator is so nice, I have two of them! I love the depth, the interior space, and especially the lower freezer. I can see everything so easily and manage the shelving perfectly to address my needs.
